THE WAY TO SAVE EARTH

What If, you wake up one day and went around the nearby river bank and saw that the whole river disappeared.
What If, you went for trekking to nearby forest and find a endless barrel land.
What If, you went to a general store to buy water and shopkeeper ask you 1million $ for 1bottle of water.
If you think it's never gone happen,
Then you should know that
Kavari River has almost dried in last few decades.
Human have cleared 50% of forest on earth.
And NITI Aayog had said that ground water of 21 majer cities will end at the end of this  decade. Even if you are not satisified see the conditions of Chennai and Cape Town.

There is a report says that at the end of this century about 1/3 of glaciers of HINDU KUSH HIMALAYAS will melt due to CLIMATE CHANGE. Only if global emissions are cut and global warming restricted to 1.5°C.
But according to Paris Agreement 2015 the possibilities is 2°C and 1.5° is far away. Which is bit scary

The HKH is also known as the third pole because of larger glaciers, the 10 major river of Asia originate from the glaciers of HKH which directly affect the life if 1.6 billion people. And a study on HKU states that this region is warning 3 time faster than the global average, not only due to global warming but the Dust and Pollution from car exhaust and coal burners mainly from India and China setting on Ice due to black colour they absorb the Sun light,  rather than reflect them away.
As the glaciers meltdown, glacier lakes form and their are about 9000 glacier lake are present and 203 are potential danger.
Now you will think how can lake be a danger.
Let you remember the Kedarnath flood one of the biggest and dangerous flood in Indian history. It was the perfect combination of many things but The main reason behind that flood making to dangerous was the outbusting of Chorabari lake.
Again a glacier lake Thorthormir lake outbusted in 2015 in bhutan and bring massive destruction.
On 17-Oct-2009 the Maldives government held its cabinet meeting underwater about 6 m below the Mean Sea Level it was the SOS message for the World and World authority's on Climate change and rising sea level. Maldives is an island country and if the sea level increase they may lost their home.
On 4-Nov- 2008 Nepal government held there cabnit meeting on Mt. Everest Camp at hight if 5,250m above the mean sea level showing concern on the melting of glaciers and tell the world world what we are leaving for next generation. But at that time no one responded to that.

But there is a country who understand it before them and act on it. They become role model for rest of the World.  Bhutan a himalayan landlocked country with limited resources has taken a decision to use their resource in limit. In 2008 when Bhutan become a democracy a mandatory 60% forest cover was introduced in constitution & Now they have about 70% of forest cover,  one thing that make Bhutan make different from rest of world is that Bhutan is only carbon negative country on Earth.
They perfectly applied
"THINK GLOBALLY AND ACT LOCALLY "
They are the real guide to Save our Planet.

Why only Bhutan?  Why not India or the rest of the nations?
I think every person is capable to plant even a beggar. IT ONLY DEPEND UPON US.

And if you are not able to plant then you have to only  Donate  42 Rupee for a tree.
